The burn ban begins February 27 at 2 p.m. and remains in effect until March 5 at 9 a.m., with possible extension.
Public Right-of-Way Debris Removal: What the March 1 deadline means
Town of Black Mountain residents should place debris cased by Helene on the public right-of-way by March 1, 2025 to ensure the debris is picked up.
Crews are working to remove storm debris from public areas and the Swannanoa River
Army Corps of Engineers’ subcontractor AshBritt is removing debris in River Walk Dog Park, Veterans Park, and the nearby Swannanoa River.
